From 3f9b6813f791410ea5e1cbab4f2f3926c2ff4200 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Daniel Samson <12231216+daniel-samson@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 30 Jul 2026 04:24:34 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] build: thread-test package opts back into threading MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Wave C dropped the .threaded flag the old addThreadedUserBinary call carried, so thread-test compiled single_threaded: the heap mutex was compiled out and atomics lowered to plain ops while the fixture spawns real kernel threads — the QEMU thread-alloc case caught it (corruption under concurrent allocation), and the completion review confirmed the same finding independently. All 12 QEMU thread cases pass again. --- test/system/services/thread-test/build.zig | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/test/system/services/thread-test/build.zig b/test/system/services/thread-test/build.zig index ba0ffe1..ce33224 100644 --- a/test/system/services/thread-test/build.zig +++ b/test/system/services/thread-test/build.zig @@ -11,6 +11,7 @@ pub fn build(b: *std.Build) void { .name = "thread-test", .root_source_file = b.path("thread-test.zig"), .domains = build_support.domains(b), + .threaded = true, // real atomics/TLS (docs/threading.md) }); b.installArtifact(exe); }
